From 12pm Tuesday 17 September 2024, Melton City Council entered into an Election Period (caretaker) prior to the 26 October 2024 Council election.
During the Election Period, we are limited to the types of information we can publish to avoid potential breaches of the Local Government Act 2020.

Aintree Children's and Community Centre

Construction of Aintree Children's and Community facility.

Bridge Road Community Hub

The Bridge Road Community Hub project will involve the development of a new oval, netball sports pavilion and associated infrastructure in Strathtoullah.

Bridge Road extension

Works on a new extension to Bridge Road in Cobblebank, between Ferris Road and Adelong Boulevard.

Bulmans Road Urbanisation Project Stage 1, Melton West & Harkness

We are upgrading the Bulmans Road Corridor from Westlake Drive to Centenary Avenue.

Caroline Springs Signalised Pedestrian Crossing

We are installing a signalised crossing to improve safety and accessibility for pedestrians along Caroline Springs Boulevard between College Street and Lake Street.

Hume Drive Duplication

Melton City Council is duplicating Hume Drive between Gourlay Road and Calder Park Drive by increasing the existing two lanes to four lanes with a new road median.

MacPherson Park Redevelopment

The redevelopment of MacPherson Park stems from a November 2017 Future Directions Master Plan.

Melton Recycling Facility

Upgrades to the Melton Recycling Facility at 33 Ferris Road, Cobblebank.

Melton Town Centre Revitalisation Projects

Melton’s town centre will undergo a revitalisation with a redesign of civic spaces, a program of events and a campaign to engage with local businesses, supported by a $3.277 million boost from the State Government’s Suburban Revitalisation program.

Plumpton Community Centre

We are committed to the design and construction of the Plumpton Community Centre for the growing Fraser Rise community and surrounding areas. This includes providing families with access to 3 and 4 year old funded kindergarten and maternal and child health as well as community meeting spaces and programs.
