Flavour Fest is a food & music festival celebrating community, culture and cuisine.

Featuring Australia’s hottest bands, Play Zone for the kids, carnival rides, wellness activities & live music, and of course, Melbourne’s fave food trucks.

We have entertainment planned for the whole family.  Keep an eye on this page as we’ll update it as planning progresses with all the information you need to know.

What's On

We’re back with a delicious blend of fiery, sweet and smoky sensations for the return of Flavour Fest 2024 – a food & music festival celebrating community, culture and cuisine. Featuring Australia’s hottest bands, Play Zone for the kids, carnival rides, wellness activities & live music, and of course, Melbourne’s fave food trucks.

Sweet Sounds: Prepare to dance up a storm at Flavour Fest’s Main Stage, with headliner Pierce Brothers bringing the best sounds to the most delicious fest in the West! Full line up coming soon – watch this space.

Street Eats: Loosen your belts or wear your sweats! This year’s food trucks are EPIC! With some of Melbourne’s best food vendors, get ready for some tasty hot treats to enjoy all day long.

The Beer Garden (Craft Beers & Other Worldy Delights): Adults, we’ve got you covered. Get down to The Beer Garden, our biggest beverage bar yet! Not just for beer lovers, there will be a delicious range of drink options for everyone sit back, relax and enjoy in the sun.

The Sweet life - Sugar, Spice & Everything Nice: Don’t tell your dentist, but a whole lot of sweet vibes are coming this year to Flavour Fest. Get ready to end the day on the sweetest note at the Sweet Life Zone!

Play Zone - free fun for the whole family!: Our Play Zone brings the fun with craft workshops, roving artists and interactive activities. Step into the action & enjoy carnival rides and free fun for the whole family to enjoy.

Wellness by Woodlea - Feels Good: Get in touch with mind, body, and soul at Woodlea’s Wellness Zone! Here you’ll find some inner peace with activities that encourage mindfulness and feel-good vibes.

Community Co-Lab - The Best of the West: Delight in the Best of the West at Flavour Fest’s Community Zone! Come together with your neighbours and enjoy a range of local-led activations that will leave you warm and fuzzy.

12pm: Gates open

12pm to 9pm: Street Eats, The Sweet Life, The Beer Garden, Wellness by Woodlea, Carnival & Community Co-Lab
3pm – 8:45pm – Sweet Sounds
8:45pm – Fireworks finale*

Event safety

Safety Services

Services which will be available onsite throughout the event include:

  • Lost Children’s. Stop by to pick up a wristband for your child where you can list your contact phone number
  • First Aid. Please visit at any time if you require medical attention.

Locations for these services will be next to Street Eats and will be open for the duration of the event.

Victoria Police

Melton City Council works closely with Victoria Police each year before, during and after the event. We develop detailed risk assessments, communication plans and protocols so that the event can be enjoyed by everyone who attends.

This year, we also welcome Victoria Police’s Proactive Unit, which will be in attendance between 12pm and 9pm. Swing past and say hi!

Fireworks Notification 

A fireworks display has been included in the program and will be held at approximately 8.45pm.

Getting to Flavour Fest

You’ll find Flavour Fest 2024 at: Frontier Park, Frontier Avenue, Aintree 3336


You can park anywhere near the event site as long as road regulations are followed and residential or business driveways are not blocked.

Overflow parking will be available at Woodlea Town Centre just a short walk from the event site.

Please note the speed restriction locations and times above.

Public Transport

We encourage people to use public transport where possible.

We have organised a special bus to run directly from Rockbank train station to the event site from 12pm - 3pm and then from 6pm - 10pm for people returning to their cars.  These buses will run every 20 minutes.  Please note you will not need to touch on your Myki if you are catching this shuttle.

Road Closures

To assist us with crowd safety, there will be a number of road restrictions that will be in place on Saturday 2 March.

Access to & throughout the event

Footpaths are available surrounding the Flavour Fest event site and has accessible parking spaces available. Ramps are also available where stairs are used to access areas of the event site.


Accessible toilets will be available onsite. Locations will be signed on the event site.

Service Animals

Trained service and assistance animals are welcome at Flavour Fest.

Sensory Friendly Chill Out Zone

There is A LOT happening at Flavour Fest, and sometimes it can all be a little bit too exciting and we may need a minute or two to step away and chill out.

That's where our Sensory Friendly Chill Out Zone comes in, away from the noise and accessible for all, it’s the perfect place for a little rest amongst all the action.

This space will be supervised by a member of Melton City Council Families & Children team.

The location can be found next to the First Aid Marquee. 

Social Story

Social stories help parents and guardians prepare children, or those requiring special assistance, about the activities to expect at the event.
