Like many regions, the City of Melton is prone to emergency situations such as heatwaves, fires and bushfires, storms and floods, pandemics.

Emergencies may affect the whole community or local communities, either potentially causing catastrophic outcomes and health related risks.

We work with emergency services, government and community organisations to minimise the effects of emergencies in our community and make sure emergency planning is effective to provide the best outcomes for us all.
