Australia Day

In 2026, Melton City Council welcomed 400 new citizens at our annual Australia Day citizenship ceremony at Cobblebank Stadium. The ceremony concludes the final step in the journey to becoming Australians for those residents. 

Following the ceremony, the community enjoyed a range of free, family friendly activities including a BBQ, face painting, and the chance to meet dingos and native reptiles.
