FREE training sessions for community groups and individuals in the City of Melton.

We aim to provide professional and relevant training as identified by the community, with a particular focus on development and leadership.

We offer a variety of training sessions where participants can meet, grow and learn from each other in a relaxed and welcoming setting.

Leadership skills for Community Volunteers

Leadership skills for volunteer training are key to building a confident, prepared. and engaged volunteer team in a community.  The training would enable the community to come together to find solutions to their own issues.

The Leadership skills for volunteers training not only ensures task competency but also fosters a sense of value and inclusion among volunteers.

It is not just about leadership skills; it is also an opportunity to build relationships and foster a sense of community.

Join all sessions from 10am - 5pm to gain the most out of the training!

Session 1: Introduction to Volunteerism and Community Engagement

Session 2: Communication and Interpersonal Skills

Objective: Develop effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Session 3: Leadership and Team Building

Objective: Cultivate leadership qualities and teamwork capabilities.

Session 4: Problem-Solving and Critical Thinking

Objective: Enhance problem-solving skills in real-world scenarios.

Session 5: Planning and Organisational Skills

Objective: Equip volunteers with project management tools and organisational skills.

Session 6: Ethics, Safety, and Well-being

Objective: Promote ethical practices and ensure volunteer safety and well-being.
