Notice of Intention to Lease - Kurunjang Recreation Reserve
Melton City Council (Council) gives notice under section 115 of the Local Government Act 2020 of its intention to enter the following lease:

Council proposes entering the following lease of land owned by Council:
Land: Part of the land described in Certificate of Title Volume 9627 Folio 912 being Reserve 1 known as the Kurunjang Recreation Reserve at 74-100 Centenary Avenue, Kurunjang VIC 3337
Tenant: Amplitel Pty Ltd ACN 648 133 073
Commencement Date: 1 July 2025
Term: 5 years with option to renew for 3 further 5-year terms
Rent: $17,000 plus GST per annum with 3% fixed annual increases
Permitted Use: Installation, inspection, maintenance, construction, excavation (if necessary), replacement, repair, renewal alteration, upgrade, cleaning, operation and removal of the Tenant’s Equipment for the purpose of communications operations including cellular mobile telephone service station, antennae and associated services.
The monopole facility is a proposed light pole swap-out – i.e.: replacing an existing Council light pole at the reserve with the Amplitel Monopole and flood lights to be reinstated on the monopole at 20.0m.
