Notice of intention to lease land - 12 Hollingsworth Drive

Melton City Council (Council) gives notice under section 115 of the Local Government Act 2020 of its intention to enter into the following lease:

Land owned by Council

Council proposes entering into the following lease of land owned by Council: 

Land: Part of the land described as 12 Hollingsworth Drive (Stadium Drive) being proposed Lot DJ on PS825773, Melton South contained in Certificate of Title Volume 12398 Folio 388.
Tenant: Powercor Ausralia Ltd ACN 064 651 109
Commencement Date: No earlier than 5 June 2025
Term: 30 years plus a further option to renew of 20 years
Rent: $0.10c plus GST per annum on demand
Permitted Use: Site for an electrical substation and for other purposes incidental to the receiving, distributing, transforming and supply of electricity.

In order to extend its network, Powercor will construct a new kiosk for electrical supply, on the subject Land to house an electrical substation for the distributing, transformation and supply of electricity.
