Get ready for winter school holiday fun

The countdown to the winter school holidays is on.

There is so much to do in the City of Melton - From games, rock climbing, trivia nights, movies, special crafts and more, there is lots to explore and try.

Youth holiday activities

Council’s Young Communities team are hosting a range of exciting events for young people aged 12 – 25.

Try ice skating, archery, or rock climbing. Participants can hone their skills in the Cook It Eat It program, learn how to apply makeup or challenge yourself at an escape room. School holiday goodie bags are also on offer for $10.

Bags contain a movie ticket, Melton Waves day pass, Xplosion bowling pass and a casual play pass. Bookings are required for all events, and getting in early is recommended.

Get creative at Melton Libraries

Gear up for another fun-filled holiday schedule at Melton City Libraries. Customise tote bags, find your inner zen with Sahaja Yoga meditation or learn something new with a first aid workshop.

Neighbourhood House fun

Enjoy a full program of activities at one of the City’s community centres or Neighbourhood Houses. Make a terrarium mason jar, challenge the whole family at a trivia night, learn first aid or get up close and personal with native wildlife.
