Melton Recreation Reserve

A new pavillion will be built at Melton Recreation Reserve.  The pavilion redevelopment will service football, cricket and netball use at the reserve and will be located along the northern wing of the oval in a more centralised location with optimal viewing of the sportsground. The building will replace the existing pavilion and will include female friendly change rooms, umpires rooms, community social space, meeting room, kitchen, and kiosk.

A new pavilion will be constructed allowing for the community groups to transition from the old pavilion into the new prior to the old pavilion being demolished and the new carpark being completed.

The project will be completed in two stages. Stage 1 being the pavilion which is expected to be completed by June-July 2024, stage 2 is the sealed car park which is currently expected to be completed by November-December 2024
