The project is completed, and the oval is now open for public use.

Works to deliver the Oval 2 at Caroline Springs Town Centre Recreation Reserve commenced in late 2024.

Works include the construction of:

  • AFL / cricket oval
  • Players shelters
  • Sports ground lighting
  • Synthetic cricket wicket
  • Ball protection fencing
  • Landscaping
  • New pathways.
  • Spectator shelter.

The project will provide benefits to the community and local sporting groups with a project budget of $4.14 million.

The project has been constructed by Victorian Sports Group Pty Ltd with STRI Ltd the head consultant engaged to deliver the project.

Funding partners

Melton City Council is funding this project.
