Heritage Advisory Committee
Melton is home to a vast array of heritage places which we value for the contribution they make to the history and landscape of our city.
Council has a Heritage Advisory Committee which exists to promote local heritage projects and drive programs that encourage an appreciation of heritage in the City of Melton. The committee is made up of six community representatives, Councillors and Council Staff.
One of the most important tasks of the Committee is to consider applications to the City of Melton Heritage Assistance Fund, which has been set up by Council to provide grants to the owners of heritage properties for conservation works. The Heritage Assistance Fund is available to all owners of heritage properties.
