Western Bulldogs Youth Leadership Project 2026

Delivered by the Western Bulldogs Community Foundation in partnership with Melton City Council, this program empowers young people (14–16) in Melton to build confidence, develop leadership skills, and create a community project that makes a real impact. Helping young people become confident, capable changemakers.

The Youth Leadership Project gives young people the opportunity to build skills, grow their confidence, and make a difference in their community.

Over a six-month journey, participants take part in workshops, real-world experiences, and community projects that help them explore their leadership style and step into their potential, with the support of a team who’s got their back every step of the way.

Program highlights: 

  • 2-day camp during April school holidays 
  • 10 fortnightly workshops in Melton with inspiring guest speakers 
  • Hands-on social impact project development 
  • Match day experience and fun, leadership-building activities 

Delivered by the Western Bulldogs Community Foundation in partnership with Melton City Council.

The Western Bulldogs Leadership Project commences from April 2026 – September 2026, session are facilitated on a fortnightly basis alternating from Melton Youth Centre and the Taylors Hill Youth and Community Centre.
