Hands-on food education with a twist!  Develop your cooking skills with delicious recipes and upskill in culinary arts.

Launch Pad

Your local hang out to socialise with friends.  Drop in with your mates for gaming, competitions or just to relax.

iPlay

iPLAY is a fun program for young people to get active in a range of free play sports, games and activities, designed to cater to the interests of young people.

Mondays: 3.30pm – 6pm

Young Women's Leadership Program

Every year Melton City Council Young Communities runs a Young Women’s Leadership Program.

The Young Women’s 8-week Leadership Program aims to provide female identifying individuals with a safe space to learn about leadership and network with like-minded individuals.

The program provides participants with the opportunity to feel empowered, confident, and comfortable in their school life, professional life, and day to day life. 

This program alternates between the Eastern Corridor and Melton throughout the 8 weeks.

Participants must attend a minimum of 5 sessions to receive a certificate of completion at the graduation ceremony. 

The Young Women’s Leadership Program will be running: July to September in 2026

Youth Advisory Committee (YAC)

Melton YAC brings together young people aged 15-25, community representatives and Councillors to discuss local issues.

Western Bulldogs Leadership Project

The Western Bulldogs Leadership Project guides local young people through practical and theory based activities designed to enhance participant’s capacities in; leadership, teamwork, communication, goal setting and resilience, empowering them to contribute and grow as leaders in their community.

For young people between the ages of 14 - 16 years.

IGNITE Productions (Amplify)

The program is a Victorian State Government Funded initiative that gives young people the opportunity to lead the planning and staging of live music and cultural events within their local community. The program provides all participants with hands-on experience and training in the modern music industry, through extensive event management mentoring and networking opportunities.

Youth Holiday Activities: runs during school holidays

A mix of excursions and local based activities for young people age 12 to 25 years.

Activity information will be available in the lead up to the school holidays of each term, with all bookings to be made online at time specified.
