Teenage Holiday Program

Teenage Holiday Program is an excursion based program for young people of secondary school age. It runs during school holidays.  The activity program is available in the lead up to school holidays each term.  Bookings can be made at the time specified.  For more information and to add your name to our mailing list, contact Youth Services on 9747 5373.

The next Teenage Holiday Program will run from 7 January 2019 - 25 January 2019.

Drop-in programs:

No need to book, just come on in, sign up, then feel free to drop in throughout the year.

LaunchPad - Melton Youth Facility

Friday, 3pm - 6pm
12 to 17 year olds

Supervised internet and email access for young people including access to LAN gaming and consoles and space to socialise and catch up with friends.

Times and age structure subject to change.

Taylors Hill Drop-in - Taylors Hill Youth and Community Centre

Thursday 3.30pm - 5.30pm
Friday, 3.30pm – 5.30pm

Supervised internet and email access during school term for young people aged 12 to 17 years including access to LAN gaming and consoles and space to socialise and catch up with friends. 

6801 Youth Outreach

6801 Youth Outreach offers information, referrals and support to young people aged 12-25 years and community members within the City of Melton who are facing difference types of challenges in their lives.

Early intervention support for young people aged 12-18 who are homeless, at risk of becoming homeless and their families.

Melton's Lesbian, Gay, Bi-sexual, Transgender, Intersex, Questioning, Allies and Gender Diverse Social Support Group (LGBTIQA+) 12 – 25 year olds

Youth Advisory Council

A safe place where young people gather to discuss and advocate on challenges that they may encounter within the City of Melton.  The Youth Advisory Council runs every fortnight during school term.

Ignitz Productions

A committee that brings young people with a passion for events management around the same table.  Young people will plan, organise and assist in the delivery of live music events for the youth of the City of Melton.  The Committee runs during school term.
