Young Women's Leadership Program

Every year Melton City Council Young Communities runs a Young Women’s Leadership Program.

The Young Women’s 8-week Leadership Program aims to provide female identifying individuals with a safe space to learn about leadership and network with like-minded individuals.

The program provides participants with the opportunity to feel empowered, confident, and comfortable in their school life, professional life, and day to day life. 

This program alternates between the Eastern Corridor and Melton throughout the 8 weeks.

Participants must attend a minimum of 5 sessions to receive a certificate of completion at the graduation ceremony. 

The Young Women’s Leadership Program will be running: July to September in 2026.  

Date:            Every Wednesday from 22 July to 2 September 2026
Time:            4.30pm - 6pm 
Age group:  Female identifying young people between the ages of 15-25 years
Location:     alternating weekly between council facilities
