Eynesbury Environment Group invite the community to join them birding along Toolern Creek on Saturday 19th July Toolern Creek. There is a pathed footpath that runs along the creek. No bushwalking involved! Child and elderly friendly! Toolern Creek forms a corridor for birds & other wildlife through Melton; from Toolern Vale in the north to the Toolern Regional Park in the south, thence to the Werribee River.
It forms a natural corridor for migrating birds as they migrate south along the Great Dividing Range, then along Toolern Creek and the Werribee River to Port Philip Bay.
Meet at Tamar Drive beside Toolern Creek at 9:00 am.
