Wanting to start your own playgroup?

Melton City Council's Playgroups Team can help, call on 9747 7136 or email playgroups@melton.vic.gov.au

Things you will need:

  • some interested friends or families with children aged 0 to 5 years
  • a venue
  • some play equipment. Most venues have toys that can be used for playgroups. Your group may also be eligible for an Establishment grant of up to $2500 to help get the playgroup up and running. Applications are available through Melton City Council
  • insurance which can be obtained through Playgroup Victoria
