It’s never too early to learn about how you can improve your waste management practices and reduce your carbon footprint. Melton City Council is thrilled to offer this engaging professional development session for early childhood educators, from local early learning centres and kindergartens, to support you in teaching the next generation about the importance of sustainability.

Throughout the insightful session, a representative from environmental sustainability experts, EnviroCom, will guide you through several topics including:

  • The Lifecycle of Waste – Understand what happens to the waste generated at your centre/kindergarten.
  • Effective Waste Management – Learn practical strategies for better waste management.
  • Teaching Sustainability – Discover three engaging lessons that can be delivered to children to help them learn about waste management and sustainability in a fun and impactful way.

Together, we can make a meaningful difference for the environment while empowering our local young people to act sustainably.

Don’t miss this opportunity to enhance your skills and connect with other educators in the community!
