Tickets on sale to the Victorian Lower Power Bills Expo!
Council is co-hosting a in partnership with the Smart Energy Council on Thursday 16 July 2026 at Melton Community Hall from 5pm to 7pm.
The free community expo will support residents to reduce household energy costs through practical advice on electrification, energy efficiency and access to government rebates and trusted providers. Melton has been identified as a priority municipality due to cost‑of‑living pressures, rapid growth and strong alignment with Council’s climate, sustainability and community wellbeing objectives.
The Expo will showcase local suppliers, representatives from the State Government to talk all things rebates, as well as local greening and environment groups.
