MELTON PLANNING SCHEME Notice of Approval of AmendmentAmendment C232melt
The Minister for Planning has approved Amendment C232melt to the Melton Planning Scheme. The Amendment comes into operation on the date this notice is published in the Victoria Government Gazette (May 8, 2026).
The Amendment implements the recommendations of the Toolern Development Contributions Plan Review and Precinct Structure Plan Refresh, February 2024 (Toolern Review) by updating the Toolern Development Contributions Plan (DCP) and the Toolern Precinct Structure Plan (PSP), and amending Schedule 3 to the Urban Growth Zone (UGZ3), Schedule 3 to the Development Contributions Plan Overlay (DCPO3) and making other consequential changes to the Melton Planning Scheme.
A copy of the Amendment can be inspected, free of charge, at the Department of Transport and Planning website or by contacting 1800 789 386 to arrange a time to view the Amendment. A copy of the Amendment can also be inspected, free of charge, during office hours, at the offices of the Melton City Council, Melton Civic Centre, 232 High Street, Melton and on the City of Melton Conversations website.
