Use this guide to help you recycle and dispose of waste correctly.

Exchange: Car seats that were in an accident may be exchanged at some sellers, including at Baby Bunting until 27 April 2027.

Drop-off: if in poor condition drop off at the Melton Recycling Facility (costs apply).

Drop-off: if in poor condition, drop off metal bed frames for free at the Melton Recycling Facility as scrap metal. For other types of bed frames drop off as mixed waste and use your waste entitlements

Blankets and sheets 

Reuse: If still in good condition, donate blankets and sheets to the Resale Shop at the Melton Recycling Facility

Donate: Blankets that are not suitable for resale can be donated to local animal shelters, including the Melton Animal Pound, for reuse. Call your local shelter first to check that they can take your items. 

Doonas and Pillows 

General waste bin (red lid): Bag and place in your bin. 

Drop-off: Drop off to Melton Recycling Facility as mixed waste (costs apply or use your waste entitlements). 

Reuse: If still in good condition, donate to the Resale Shop at the Melton Recycling Facility. 

Drop off: For metals, drop off for free at the Melton Recycling Facility as scrap metal. Other components, such as tyres, incur a fee.
