There will be changes to some of our services from Good Friday 3 April to Easter Monday 6 April.
Easter Opening Hours 2026
Important: Never place needles or syringes in kerbside or public bins.
Pick up & drop off: service available at Council Customer Service Centres.
Store needles, sharps and syringes in an Australian Standard Sharps container or a rigid, puncture-resistant plastic container with a well-secured screw top lid, such as a plastic laundry detergent container. Drop off this container at customer service and they will dispose of appropriately.
Tip: Sharps should not be stored in glass jars, cardboard boxes, drink cans or bottles. These are prone to shattering or puncturing, making them hazardous.
