Sleep and Settling

The Sleep and Settling program is part of Victoria's Maternal and Child Health service and is offered to families with children aged 0 - 3 years, as an extension of the Universal Maternal and Child Health service.

Sleep and settling concerns are common issues affecting families with young children.

The program offers in home support to families by Maternal and Child Health Nurses and a dedicated Sleep and Settling Parent Support Worker.

Speak with your Maternal and Child Health Nurse or email: sleepsettling@melton.vic.gov.au for a referral into the program. 


Free Education Sessions

Free online education sessions for parents and caregivers to develop sleep and settling techniques that support their babies and toddlers.

These free sessions will help parents respond to their child’s cues and promote healthy, secure development.

Join us in exploring age appropriate sleep patterns and strategies to support positive change in your child’s sleep behaviour. Sessions are interactive and there is opportunity to ask questions.

Session details

  • Newborn 0-4 months: 12pm - 1.30pm
  • Baby sleep 4-12 months: 2pm - 4pm
  • Toddler sleep 1-2 years: (once every two months): 9.30am - 11.30am

When: first Wednesday of the month
