Family fun and harmony at Lakeside Alive 2026
Published on 27 February 2026
Lakeside Alive returns to Caroline Springs this March, with a focus on celebrating the City’s rich cultural diversity.
Lakeside Alive will be held at Lake Caroline on Saturday 21 March, coinciding with Harmony Day, an annual celebration of Australia’s cultural diversity and its benefits.
Get your family and friends together for a day of free family entertainment including intercultural performances, roving performers, market stalls, live music and fireworks.
Children can get creative at Lady Mohawk’s Craft Tile Workshop, enjoy the Bebop Circus, or have their faces painted, while older kids can join in the excitement of the 10‑Minute Dance Parties, presented in partnership with JOFmakesART and hosted by local young people
Explore the market stalls from local artisans, while being enthralled by the amazing talents of the roving fire twirlers, circus performers, giant puppets and more.
Live music will feature throughout the day across two stages with rock band The Vanns and indie-folk singer Didirri featuring on the Main Stage.
A second stage dedicated to Harmony Day celebrations will showcase intercultural performances from our diverse community. A special Harmony Day walk will feature workshops and activities for all ages, and there will be an international food market with a variety of cuisines to try.
You can also grab a bite at one of the delicious local eateries surrounding the lake, with many offering event day special deals.
Twilight fireworks will wrap up the day in spectacular style at 8pm, weather permitting.
Lakeside Alive runs from 12pm to 8pm. To find out more, visit Lakeside Alive.
