Library opening hours in April

Melton City Libraries branches and Library Access Points will be closed on the following dates in April:

  • Friday 3 April (Good Friday)
  • Saturday 4 April
  • Sunday 5 April (Easter Sunday)
  • Monday 6 April (Easter Monday)
  • Saturday 25 April (ANZAC Day)

There is no need to return any borrowed items on these dates, however, our return chutes will be open in case you would like to drop anything off. Remember that our libraries are proudly fine free, so you can enjoy your holidays with less stress.

Melton and Caroline Springs Libraries will be open as normal on all other days throughout April. 

There will be further changes to opening hours at some of our Library Access Points during the school holiday period:

 Aintree (Timbertop)   Open Thursday 9 April and Wednesday 15 April, 10am to 3pm 
 Diggers Rest  Open Tuesday 7 April and Tuesday 14 April, 2pm to 3pm
 Fraser Rise  Open Thursday 9 April and Thursday 16 April, 10am to 3pm
 Atherstone  Open as usual, please check centre opening hours


If these times do not suit you, may choose to pick up your library holds from Melton or Caroline Springs Library. You can choose your preferred pickup location in the Melton City Libraries app, or through our online catalogue. You can also contact the library on 9747 5300 to speak to one of our friendly staff.

Don’t forget that you can still access digital collections through our eLibrary from home, any time, with thousands of free eBooks, audiobooks, movies and more to explore.
