The Melton Seniors Festival, I think, is a really crucial event. I mean, it's a month jam-packed with events aimed at seniors, which I think is such a great thing for them to be involved in and doing. My name is Jonno and I'm the founding director of We Love and Eat Grow Garden. Today is the uh garden party.
We've got a great big long table down the middle of the garden. all sorts of foods, the sweets, some savories. I think it's such a beautiful thing to do, especially over a meal or with music as well.
What we sort of wanted from today is just people to come and enjoy the space and know that they can come and do that anytime.

It's about what we're doing and how we're enjoying it even more, I think, than about the end product.
We're very lucky here in Melbourne because the council do provide lots of interesting activities, workshops. It's been very worthwhile. People will be robbing the L to get this. I think it's to really provide opportunities that really open the world of creativity, imagination, and learning and coming together with their friends to have a laugh and, you know, learn a new skill.

Today we are running a pottery workshop. At the start everyone were doubting about what they going to achieve. I assure them that they will make a masterpiece and they all laughed. I like to try new things. Don't know how good the mug will turn out but I'm enjoying it.
Yes. I've made a a key holder. So, I thought I'd have it as a denture cut. I was going to take the teeth out to see if they'd fit, but the wife got pretty embarrassed, so I've left them in. See?

I'm an Australian honey smellier, and the Melton City Council have really kindly invited me down today as part of their seniors festival to teach the locals about honey tasting and what I do. Seniors, they have a great time. This whole month has been fabulous. I left just saying what an awesome time they had with tasting the honey with the cheeseboards and yeah, had a great time.

It's a full house. Chocolate block. The tickets are a sellout. The atmosphere is fantastic. A lot of fun. It was great. I love the music and I love the drummer.
Fantastic. Brilliant. Excellent show. The seniors festival is just a space to get people of similar age, similar experiences together and just building those networks and those relationships so that people remain connected.
We've really enjoyed them and all my friends have really enjoyed it's uh take advantage and enjoy.
