Military Commemoration Grants

The Military Commemoration Grants (MCG) program supports local activities that honour and remember the sacrifices made by Australians during military conflicts.

The MCG encourages applications from City of Melton Returned Services League (RSL) sub-branches and the Vietnam Veterans Association to conduct commemorative events for ANZAC Day, Remembrance Day and Vietnam Veterans Day.

The following types of activities are eligible for funding: 

  • Approved Traffic Management Plans 
  • AV equipment 
  • Hire of chairs and marquee

The funding amount will be determined by Council based on the received applications and set by the limit in the allocated budget.
