Amendment Status: Gazetted on Friday 8 May 2026
The Minister for Planning has now approved Amendment C232melt to the Melton Planning Scheme.
The Amendment implements the recommendations of the Toolern Development Contributions (DCP) and Precinct Structure Review (PSP) by amending various provision of the Melton Planning Scheme.

Amendment C231melt
Amendment status: Gazetted on 11 July 2025
The Minister for Planning has now approved Amendment C231melt to the Melton Planning Scheme.
The Amendment implements the findings of the City of Melton Heritage Assessment Project (2020/21) by applying the Heritage Overlay to four individual places and making associated changes to the Melton Planning Scheme.

Amendment C243melt
Amendment status: Gazetted on 19 June 2025
The Minister for Planning has now approved Amendment C243 to the Melton Planning Scheme.
The amendment facilitates the relocation of horse-riding school operated by the Riding for Disabled Association of Victoria (RDAV) to a new temporary site (Bonnie Brook).
To do this, the amendment introduces a new Incorporated Document into the Planning Scheme and a corresponding Specific Controls Overlay will be applied to the land.
To cease the use of the horse-riding school at the existing site (Aintree), the amendment also amends the existing Incorporated Document with an earlier expiry date to correspond with this relocation to the new temporary site.
