Home Delivery Services

Our optional Home Delivery Service is available at no cost to all Melton City Library members who live within the Melton City Council area.

This service is open for one-off deliveries, or an ongoing delivery service.

One-off Delivery Service

Deliveries are available to Melton City Library members that find themselves temporarily unable to visit the library.

Each household can receive a delivery once every 6 weeks. Please note that one-off deliveries are required to be returned to the library in-branch.

Ongoing Home Delivery Service

Our ongoing Home Delivery Service is free and ongoing for local residents who are housebound or unable to visit the Library.

Library staff will be in contact to discuss if the service is suitable. We will discuss your reading, listening and watching preferences, and develop a personal profile of your likes and dislikes to help select material that is right for you.

Chosen items will be delivered, and picked up from your home every 4 weeks.
