McDonald Street Reserve currently provides an inviting stretch of nature among the homes in residential Melton South, perfect for a relaxing walk or informal sports. The simple green space makes it easy for families to enjoy casual outdoor time close to home.

McDonald Recreation Reserve Upgrade Project

We're creating a new playspace at McDonald Recreation Reserve scheduled for completion in 2027.

The works include a diverse play space and equipment as well as drinking fountain, paths and surrounding greenery. 

Melton City Council is funding the $750,013 project.

The project is being lead and designed by JF Studio to ensure a cohesive and a well thought out play space for the local community. They're currently completing the concept design after extensive site investigation to ensure all items are accounted for.
