Ever wondered what the role of a Council animal ranger is? Join us for this informative and engaging session where you’ll learn all about life as a ranger as well as how to play your role in keeping our local animals and community safe.

During this workshop you’ll discover

What to do if you find a stray animal
What happens when a dog attack occurs
Why it’s important to register your pets
Practical tips on keeping you, your pets and the community safe
How to ensure livestock are safely confined
How to lodge a complaint about a barking dog or cat nuisance
How to tell if a dog is happily interacting with you or displaying aggressive behaviour (these can sometimes look similar!)

Following the workshop, you’ll have a chance to meet with our ranger team to ask them your burning animal questions.
