Melton Central Community Centre

Melton Central Community Centre is a multipurpose community facility located in the heart of Melton. 

The multi-level centre operates with co-located service providers addressing the needs of the local, new and emerging community including;

• Djeriwarrah Community & Education and Community Services: Community and education services
• CatholicCare: Community and family support services
• Micare: Aged care and settlement services
• Action on Disability with Ethnic Communities (ADEC): Disability and aged care services

The centre boasts two large art spaces, a large registered kitchen and three classrooms for learning activities and programs. The centre also has a meeting room and three community rooms available to accommodate a variety of community groups and service providers.

Main features

Three Community Rooms

• Community Room 1 accommodates up to 18 people
• Community Room 2 accommodates up to 15 people 
• Community Room 3 accommodates up to 20 people
• These rooms can be configured to one large room accommodating up to 59 people
• Ceiling mounted projector with a drop down screen in one community rom
• Wall mounted HD screens with HDMI input to the remaining two community rooms

Meeting Room

• Accommodates up to 9 people

• Includes wall mounted HD screen with HDMI input

Registered Community Kitchen

• Contains 2 ovens, 3 stovetops, 2 microwaves, fridge and freezer, 2 dishwashers and a serving counter to the foyer area.

  
Two Purpose Built Art Rooms

• Art Room 1 can accommodate up to 19 people
• Art Room 2 can accommodate up to 24 people
• Both rooms can be configured to one large room to accommodate up to 43 people

• Both rooms boast hard flooring appropriate for wet art, sinks, a drying area and wall mounted HD screens with HDMI input

Heating and cooling

This set up makes the centre ideal for community programs, training sessions, meetings, playgroups, cooking, corporate seminars and education services.

Not suitable for social functions, parties, group fitness, etc.

No alcohol is permitted within the facility. 

Access and Parking

Venue is available to be hired from 8am – 10pm each day.
