Youth Fest Recognition nominations closing soon

Melton City Council is calling on the community to celebrate the outstanding achievements of local young people, with nominations for the 2026 Youth Fest Recognitions closing this Sunday 9 August.
From young leaders and volunteers to talented artists, dedicated students and sporting stars, these recognitions shine a spotlight on those who inspire others through their achievements, commitment and contribution.
Young people aged 12 to 25 who live, work, study, or volunteer in the City of Melton, and who are making a positive impact in their communities can be nominated now for recognition of this outstanding service.
Residents are encouraged to nominate a young person they know and help ensure their efforts are recognised. Nominations can be made by teachers, employers, coaches, mentors, community leaders and others who know the nominee.
