Get involved in the City of Melton's Post-war History

Council is undertaking a new Thematic Environmental History (TEH) project to recognise and document the stories, places and experiences that shaped the City of Melton after the Second World War.

The project will explore the Satellite City era, industrial growth, cultural diversity and mid-century rapid suburban expansion.

This project will provide an historical framework that reflects the City of Melton’s 20^th century identity to support identification and protection of significant sites that represent this era of history.

We want to hear from individuals, community groups and stakeholders to help capture the stories, memories and experiences that shaped the City of Melton post-World War II (1945 through to the 1980s).
