Navan Park Lake Platforms

Melton City Council has committed to further upgrade works to Navan Park.  Identified as part of the Navan Park Master Plan, Council is planning to construct two platforms – landings to provide a greater level of access to the edge of the water.  The landings will be suitable for fishing and other recreational purposes.

The project work is planned to include the construction of: 

  • Two platforms
  • Additional essential infrastructure to allow for the platforms, including connection paths
  • Safety elements including balustrades 
  • Environmental protection measures 
     

Funding Partners

The Navan Park Lake Platforms project is supported by the Victorian Fisheries Authority through the Recreational Fishing Grants Program.

May 2026 Update

This project is currently in the tender phase.  Preliminary design works are already underway.
