Bridge Road Raised Pedestrian Operated Signalised Crossing Stage 2A

Works to deliver the Stage 2A of the Bridge Road Pedestrian Operated Signalised Crossing outside Strathtulloh Primary School, are expected to commence late 2025.

Works include the construction of a:

  • New raised pedestrian operated signalised crossing outside of Strathtulloh Primary School and the Community Centre. This will provide a safe pedestrian crossing for this busy road.
  • New raised pedestrian crossing at the leg of the roundabout for Wembley Ave x Bridge Road, outside of the Strathtulloh Primary School.

The project will provide benefits to the local community with a project budget of $1 million.  

Funding partners

Melton City Council is funding this project.

September 2025 Update

Further investigations were required for this project, thereby delaying the original project tender and completion date. It is anticipated that the tender release will be early 2026, with completion expected mid-2026.
