International Women’s Day

Each year in March, Melton City Council proudly supports International Women’s Day by offering free access to a range of activities and workshops across the City of Melton.

International Women’s Day is a global campaign that is celebrated around the world on 8 March each year, and aims to celebrate and recognise women’s achievements, as well as to act as a central point for action to build support for women’s rights and their full participation in the economy, politics, community and in everyday life.

Check out some of our suggested resources to learn more about gender equality at the library and discover simple things you can do to support and celebrate the women in your life. All genders welcome.
