Melton City Council is inviting feedback on proposed streetscape improvements to four locations in High Street, Melton.

The planned upgrades would see the creation of new welcoming spaces near existing food and retail outlets, where residents and visitors can spend time enjoying what the precinct has to offer.

The proposed works would involve the demolition of existing footpaths, followed by the construction of new paving, landscaping, and installation of street furniture.

With support from the Victorian Government, Melton’s Town Centre has benefited from recent upgrades including a new playground, footpaths upgrades, street furniture, artworks and activities.

These new streetscape upgrades will enhance the amenity of the High Street retail precinct and encourage greater community use.

Council has worked closely with local traders to shape the designs and is now inviting community members to view the plans and provide input.

Feedback is open until Monday 24 November 2025.
