Weir Views East Sports Reserve

Weir Views East Sports Reserve is a 4-hectare site located 37 Kingdom Boulevard, Weir Views.  

The new Sport Reserve will have active frontage on all sides, providing great passive surveillance to all corners of the reserve from residential development. 

The new project will consist of: 

  • two natural grass turf soccer pitches 
  • cricket synthetic wicket between pitches, so the reserve can operate as a cricket oval 
  • a multi-purpose sports pavilion, which will include meeting room, kitchen, male and female changerooms/amenities, Umpire Room and viewing area 
  • car parking for 67 spaces 
  • coach boxes 
  • ball protection fencing 
  • scoreboard  
  • two lane cricket training nets  
  • landscaping and furniture 
  • a district level play space 
  • footpath network

Funding partners 
Melton City Council is funding the project. 

April 2026 Update

This project is just entering the design phase, with site investigation works to commence over the next couple months so that the design can start being concepted. You may see different types of machinery & personnel and equipment attending the site at various times over this period to complete the necessary site investigations. 

Construction of the new Sport Reserve is expected to commence late 2027.
