Melton City Council has added a lane on Centenary Avenue, at the western side of the Coburns Road roundabout.
Previously vehicles queued back along Centenary Avenue, as there was only one lane of traffic that could enter the roundabout from the western side. Construction of the additional lane will increase capacity of the roundabout, reduce congestion and improve safety.
A new footpath will also be constructed at the roundabout to improve safety for pedestrians.
