Melton City Council delivering a new sports pavilion and refurbishing existing rooms in the nearby community centre. The delivery of the project will see an increase in capacity at the recreation reserve and is a welcomed addition to the community.

The project was completed in January 2023 and the refurbishment works were completed in May 2023.

The project delivered the following;

  • New social space catering for 130 people
  • New kitchen and amenities to suit social space
  • Refurbishment to provide 2 new additional change rooms
  • Refurbishment to expand Umpires change rooms
  • Refurbishment to provide a meeting room
  • Facility will be built in-line with sporting guidelines and all-inclusive access

The Council funded, $2.8 million upgrade increases capacity at the reserve for our growing local community.
