Information for carers
We facilitate support for carers programs under the Victorian Support for Carers Program Guidelines, which has expanded eligibility to include carers of all ages, with the aim of reducing stress, improving well-being and providing an opportunity to meet individuals with similar experiences.
- Family Carer’s Group - meets on the first Thursday of the month from 5.30pm – 7pm and participate in diverse range of activities ranging from swimming, basketball, and bowling. Please contact the Carer Connections Officer for a 2022 Activity Calendar.
- Carer’s Social Calendar - provides social and networking opportunities for carers of people living with a disability. This group meets on the first Thursday of the month from 10am -11am for a ‘Walk & Talk” and from 11am -12noon for a Coffee Catch-Up. Monthly Social outings which include a diverse range of activities chosen by the Carers, take place on the third Thursday of each month. - Carers Information Sessions - are run throughout the year and information can be found via our website and Facebook page at the time of the event
- CARE Virtual Expo – Information and resources that can assist Carers, Seniors, and people with disability. You can access the CARE Virtual Expo site at anytime
