Early Years Partnership Committee
The Early Years Partnership Committee is responsible to provide advice to Council about strategic directions, policy and plans related to children 0-12 years in the City of Melton. The committee works across a range of sectors to support the learning, development, health and wellbeing of all children.
Committee members attend bimonthly meetings and work collaboratively on a range of issues as identified by the Committee. This is a great way to contribute to the community and link in with services provided for children and families.
Membership comprises of the following position categories:
- Community
- Catholic education
- Independent education
- Government Primary education
- Early Education and Care
- Early Intervention or disability
- Health
- Family support
- Drug & alcohol support
- Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander representative
- Cultural and Linguistically Diverse representative
- Libraries
