FairGo 4 Youth Fund
FairGo 4 Youth is a newly developed fund for young people between the age of 8-16 years from low-income households to get involved in extracurricular activities such as sports, hobby groups and clubs.
The fund will allow for single claims of up to $400 per person (ex GST)*, per calendar year to cover registration fees for eligible activities. An additional $200 per person (ex GST) is available for people with disabilities. Funding is allocated on a competitive basis. Once the allocated funds are exhausted, no additional funding will be available within the financial year. Funds will be sent directly to Activity Providers.
Detailed guidelines and terms and conditions for Activity Providers and Participants:
Please note: The FairGo 4 Youth Fund has exhausted all available funds. Interested participants are encouraged to submit an expression of interest and will be placed on the waitlist.
Activities are delivered by providers who have a pre-existing agreement with the City of Melton to hold activities at a City of Melton owned facility.
You can view the list of eligible activity providers(PDF, 300KB) .
Not all eligible activity providers will wish to be a part of the program, therefore it is the responsibility of the participant to contact the activity provider to confirm registration.
