Environmental Grants

To celebrate World Environment Day, Council offers annual grants for new or established community organisations to deliver environmental projects or programs that have a positive impact on the local environment and/or promote environmental stewardship and sustainability.

To celebrate the new decade, we are happy to announce that the size of the total grant pool has been increased from $10,000 to $40,000.  This means Council will be able to support more and larger projects up to $10,000, on top of the smaller projects we have supported in previous years.

Submissions for the 2020 World Environment Day grants closed Sunday 31 May 2020.

For more information please contact our City Environment and Sustainability team on 9747 7200 or via email: environment@melton.vic.gov.au.
