Library COVID-19 updates page

Melton City Libraries and the CS Gallery are now open. Check the opening times for your nearest branch.

As of Saturday 23 April 2022, proof of vaccination is no longer required to enter the library. We are so excited to welcome back all of our valued library members to enjoy our full range of services.

Your health and safety is still our first priority. We will continue doing what we can to ensure that our facilities remain COVID-safe, including regular cleaning of frequently used equipment and spaces.

We encourage all visitors to continue to socially distance, and to make use of the hand sanitiser and surface cleaning materials available in our branches. While face masks are no longer required in the library, you may continue to wear one if you wish. And of course, we ask that you do not visit the library if you are feeling unwell.

We understand that some people may not feel ready to return to the library just yet. Our free Home Delivery service will continue for those who do not wish to visit the library in person. You may also like to place holds on library items ahead of time to make your visit as quick and easy as possible.

Thank you to all of our customers who remain supportive and respectful of our dedicated staff during these challenging times.
