Join the library

Joining Melton City Libraries is free and open to residents of Victoria.  You can sign up for a library card online and access ebooks and online learning.

Joining online

You can become an online member by filling out our online membership form. This will give you a temporary user number which will expire in 3 months.

You will be able to use the temporary user number to access some of our online resources: The Computer School, Bolinda eBooks and eAudiobooks, PressReader and Freegal Music streaming and downloads.

Fees and Conditions of Membership

Lost card

Report lost cards to the library as soon as possible on 9747 5300 or library@melton.vic.gov.au. Replacement fees may apply.

PIN/Password

If you have forgotten your PIN/password and have an email address it can be reset by going to the reset PIN/Password page

Change of address

  • Contact the library or update online. Login using your library card number and PIN to update.
  • Proof of new address will be required.
