Library Programs & Bookings

Melton City Libraries host a range of fun, free events throughout the year. We cater for all ages and interests. Whether you’re into books, crafts, tech, or something else altogether, there’s something here for you!

Visit the online events calendar to see what's coming up.

Please note that bookings are required for some programs. You will need your library card number and PIN/password to make a booking. If you are not a library member, you can sign up online. It's free to join!

If you have forgotten your library password, you can reset it online or contact the library for help.

Event Safety - Online Programs

At Melton City Libraries, we take eSafety seriously. To help our events run smoothly and safely, we ask that you follow these guidelines when attending online programs with your children:

  • Use the first names of your children as your screen name.
  • Use an appropriate background – either in a quiet space, or have fun using a virtual background!
  • Mute your microphone unless you are asked to unmute by the presenters.
  • To meet our Child Safe requirements, an adult must be present at all times with children under 12 years of age. Please also make sure that your child is dressed before we begin our session.

Zoom links will be sent out by email on the morning of your event. Remember to check your junk mail folder!

We will open each Zoom meeting 5 minutes early to give you the chance to settle in before the program starts.

If you experience any technical issues, please contact the library on 9747 5300. One of our friendly team members will be able to help you.

We hope you enjoy your online event!

Our programs are also advertised in the monthly library eNewsletter.
