Flavour Fest is a food & music festival celebrating community, culture and cuisine.
Featuring Australia's hottest bands, a tasty line-up of celebrity chefs and live cooking demonstrations, as well as a variety of popular food trucks.
We have entertainment planned for the whole family.

Flavour Fest will be held on Saturday 22 October from 12pm to 9pm at Frontier Park in Ainree.
This is the first time that Council will run Flavour Fest, but it is the second time our major sponsors Woodlea will have participated in the event.
Flavour Fest is a family-friendly-fun-filled day. We have a foodie stage showcasing some ex MasterChef contestants, a music stage that involves some of the biggest acts the West has seen, food trucks serving yummy treats, a Brew Zone for the adults and children's activities to keep them busy for hours!
12pm - Gates open to the public
12pm - 6.30pm - Kids area is active
12.30pm - 3.30pm - Foodie stage demonstrations
4pm - 9pm - Main stage performances
12pm - 8.45pm - Food Vendors serving, Sweet Alley vendors serving, Brew Zone open, Carnival running
9pm - Fireworks finale*
*Please note fireworks are pending weather conditions
Services which will be available onsite throughout the event include:
- Lost Children’s. Stop by to pick up a wristband for your child where you can list your contact phone number
- First Aid. Please visit at any time if you require medical attention.
Locations for these services will be next to Sweet Alley and will be open for the duration of the event.
Melton City Council works closely with Victoria Police each year before, during and after the event. We develop detailed risk assessments, communication plans and protocols so that the event can be enjoyed by everyone who attends.
This year, we also welcome Victoria Police’s Proactive Unit, which will be in attendance between 12pm and 5pm. Swing past and say hi!
Road Closures & Fireworks Notification
To assist us with crowd safety, there will be a number of road restrictions that will be in place on Saturday 22 October 2022.
A fireworks display has been included in the program and will be held at approximately 9pm.
Please note this time is subject to change and is correct at the time of publication. The fireworks display is also subject to weather conditions on the evening.

Getting to Flavour Fest
You’ll find Flavour Fest at: Frontier Park, Frontier Avenue, Aintree 3336
You can park anywhere near the event site as long as road regulations are followed and residential or business driveways are not blocked.
Overflow parking will be available at Woodlea Town Centre just a short walk from the event site.
Please note the speed restriction locations and times above.
We encourage people to use public transport where possible.
We have organised a special bus to run directly from Rockbank train station to the event site from 12pm - 3pm and then from 6pm - 10pm for people returning to their cars. These buses will run every 20 minutes. Please note you will not need to touch on your Myki if you are catching this shuttle.

Access to & throughout the event
Footpaths are available surrounding the Flavour Fest event site and has accessible parking spaces available. Ramps are also available where stairs are used to access areas of the event site.
Accessible toilets will be available onsite. Locations will be signed on the event site.
Trained service and assistance animals are welcome at Flavour Fest.
Sensory Friendly Chill Out Zone
There is A LOT happening at Flavour Fest, and sometimes it can all be a little bit too exciting and we may need a minute or two to step away and chill out.
That's where our Sensory Friendly Chill Out Zone comes in, away from the noise and accessible for all, it’s the perfect place for a little rest amongst all the action.
This space will be supervised by a member of Melton City Council Families & Children team.
The location can be found next to the lost children's marquee.
