What's On

Lakeside Alive will be held on Saturday 1 April from 12pm to 8pm at Lake Caroline in Caroline Springs.

Back and bigger than ever, Lakeside Alive is a free family-friendly-fun-filled day. Don’t miss out on a range of food trucks serving yummy treats and some great live music performing all day.

12pm to 5pm
  • Not only are your four-legged friends welcome at Lakeside Alive, we've got a whole Puppy Pit Stop planned to treat them like the stars they are!
  • This one is for the kids and kids at heart! Drum up a storm in the African Drumming Space. You'll find this rhythmic retreat under Lake Caroline's iconic On Tap public art piece.
  • Our Kiddie Korner is sure to keep your kiddies happy. Stop by for free face painting, kid’s craft activities, soft playspace, to blow some giant bubbles or get creative with our Arts Activation.
  • We also have roving performers & buskers galore! Join Dummies Corp, Water Drop Stilt Walkers, Chelly Parisi, Big Chief Boom Boom, Guru Dudu and more as you explore Lakeside Alive. Where can you find them? Around every turn!
12pm to 8pm
  • We're bringing you a whole heap of musical delights at this year’s Lakeside Alive; we can't wait! From foot stomping country tunes to the beat of drumming on a bin (you read that right!), the Live Music on Stage will delight young, old, those on two-legs and those on four!
  • Love a shiny new car? Or maybe a vintage bike? We’ve got them all! Rolling in all day to Lakeside Alive is a collection of classic, new and down-right cool cars for you at the Car Show.
  • Feeling peckish? There’s pizzas! There’s spiral potatoes! There’s Greek and Mediterranean food and a whole lot more! Make sure to visit the Lakeside Alive Food Trucks to satisfy all your eating needs. Can’t find exactly what you’re craving amongst the food trucks? No worries! There’s plenty of local businesses surrounding the lake who would be happy to fill the need.
  • What a better way to end an amazing day at Lakeside Alive than twilight Fireworks.

Please note that the Car Show & Fireworks are pending weather conditions.

Lakeside Alive is an alcohol-free event. Security and Victoria Police will be in attendance.

This space will be supervised by a member of Melton City Council Families & Children team.
