Free green waste disposal

Available to all residents (homeowners and renters) in the City of Melton, dispose of your household green (garden) waste free at the Melton Recycling Facility (MRF) during November and December 2023.

Free green garden waste conditions apply:

• No mixed loads are allowed (green garden waste only)
• Limbs and branches up to 30cm in diameter
• No commercial operators or commercial loads will be accepted
• Trucks are not permitted
• Proof of ID is required -  (Property owners - Drivers Licence, or Tenants - Utility Bill)

The Melton Recycling Facility is open 7 days a week 8am to 4.30pm except on Christmas day.
